- Title Botched Botox Treatment Leaves Woman Temporarily Blind In One Eye
- Summary On September 15th in New Jersey, Lydia August filmed the shocking aftermath of a routine botox treatment that went awry. After suffering from chronic migraines since she was 15, Lydia was prescribed botox as a treatment course and has been having them done for the past three years. After she relocated from Florida to New Jersey, Lydia found a new neurologist to do her botox for her. After her new neurologist completed the routine treatment, at first, Lydia’s face appeared normal. However, after a few days, her right eye seemed more swollen than her left eye. Lydia commented, “Throughout the day it started drooping more. "I woke up the next morning and it was drooping even more. It was the weekend, so I couldn’t call my doctor. "By the day after, my eye was pretty much completely closed.” Lydia was shocked at the physical reaction as she said she had never had an adverse reaction to the treatment before. After seeking a second opinion, another doctor specialising in aesthetics said that Lydia’s eye was allegedly the worst case of ptosis she’s seen in her 10 years of working in aesthetics. Unfortunately, Lydia's eye could remain closed as seen in the video for 2-3 months.
