- Title Chatty farmer films the barnyard rush every morning
- Summary Caenhill Countryside Centre is a 70 acre farm set in Devizes, Wiltshire. The centre doubles as a charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing of young people and the rescue animals the farm is home to. The centre boasts over 280 farm animals, looked after by head farmer Chris Franklin, 64-years-old, and his wife Helie Franklin, who are both from the local area of Devizes. Chris has been dubbed, 'The Chatty Farmer' online, due to the conversations he has with the animals, often asking in his videos if the animals are hungry, or how they slept. Chris found online fame from his morning rush videos, showing the array of animals the centre houses being let out of the barn. He says: 'The animals come rushing out for early morning feed, foraging and start their say. 'The animals are part of our team to help with the education and well being of our students. If the animals leave, they go to forever homes. 'All our animals are stress free and respond to my voice, the animals have been known to talk on social media.' Chris has been filming the morning rush hour for over five years, and he says they have people from all over the world who watch his morning routine with the animals. He has even started doing shout outs for some members of the centre's loyal fan base! Chris' daughter Kara organises Caenhill Countryside Centre's social media, visits to the centre, and coordinates involvement with local schools. Chris says: 'The popular animals are Wiggle & Giggle the geese, Trigger the pig, Ken the rooster, Violet the cat, Rodney & Del the emu's, Holly the turkey, Daisy the cow, Coco and Eli our donkeys, and many more.'
