- Title Man films incredibly satisfying bone cracking compilation!
- Summary I am Kyle Hemsley; 31; Quincy, CA; Chiropractor! IFilmed at some point in 2020 at my office in Reno, NV I was a personal trainer and gym owner during my early to mid twenties in Reno, Nevada. We had a Chiropractor come in and rent space in our gym and I really gravitated towards his work. I let go of my part in the gym and moved down to sunny Southern California for Chiropractic college. Some of my friends and family members cringe, but most of them love it. I truly only post adjustment videos on social media for viewing pleasure; not with the intention of drawing my audience in to think they NEED an adjustment. The "cracking" noise really isn't bones cracking. There is a quick thrust applied through the joints and the "cracking" or "popping" sound comes from gas being release from the joint. In the Chiropractic world it is called a cavitation. There have been many theories and philosophies developed over the years behind the Chiropractic adjustment. My narrative behind the adjustment is that it will likely feel good and has the potential to offer some short term pain relief, but is NOT required for you to make a full recovery, nor is it required as "maintenance" care to prevent injury. Most people that come to see me know that this is actually a very SMALL part of what I do. The bulk of most of my initial consultations consist of listening and gaining an understanding of the patients beliefs, fears, possible misconceptions about their condition, and coming up with a game plan to help them manage most of their symptoms at home. A more passive approach (manual therapy, chiropractic adjustments, etc.) is saved for those that have a lot of fear about their condition and need some extra reassurance that it is safe to move or for those that have the financial means to come in for manual therapy just because they enjoy it. I was a 4 sports athlete in high school and played some college baseball, so I am very active minded. Low back pain is one of the leading causes of disability and missed work in the United States. I truly believe that if most people could meet the daily physical activity guidelines the incidence of low back pain would dramatically decrease. But unfortunately it isn't that simple. More effort needs to be put on public health programs, focusing on physical education and building more parks and recreational centers to make physical activity more accessible and fun.
