- Title Woman Finds Petty Solution To Stop People Driving On Her Yard
- Summary A woman was so frustrated with people from her neighbouring building driving on her grass that she found a petty solution to combat it. Hair extension specialist Bri Morgan, 30, captured the dispute during March 2022 at her home in Ohio, after she found that cars were ruining her yard after driving on the grass. Bri had noticed a drainage gate had cracked on the back entrance to a neighbouring building after a truck had drove into it and after a few days of driving round the hole, the neighbouring construction company decided to fix it. They filled in the concrete slab and lay down a new grate, covering the new concrete with a blanket to help cure it and surrounding it with orange cones, blocking off the rear entrance. However, Bri noticed that someone on multiple occasions was ignoring the blocked road and instead driving on her yard to avoid the obstacle. Bri said: "This drive is a secondary entrance mainly for semi truck deliveries as it's easier to access the main highway and roads but they have a very nice front entrance. "Prior to the repair, people had been slightly driving in our yards to avoid the hole which I understood but once the cones went up, I realised someone was driving completely around the cones and 100% through my yard in order to still use this entrance and exit. "Had this been the only way in and out I would have understood but it wasn't, it was simply the easiest and quickest. So after watching him come and go I decided to get a little petty. "I wanted to find a humorous way to keep the inconsiderate individual from driving through our yards and ruining the edges of our properties with their tyres." As to try and deter the cars from driving on their lawn, Bri lay down big branches which had snapped off the nearby trees on her yard and used them to block the grass route. She put the big branches on either side of the cones in the hope it would deter the cars, however, they started driving over her neighbours lawn, which Bri wasn't happy about. So she continued to lay branches down in the hope to put the vehicles off and even got her two-year-old german shepherd, Boone, to help. Eventually she noticed tyre tracks turning around at the obstacle, rather than ploughing through their yard andd after a few weeks the cones were removed and the drive way was in full use again. Bri continued: "I posted the video to TikTok and it immediately started blowing up, with people asking me for updates and people were really cracking me up. "Springtime in Ohio brings a lot of mud while the grass is trying to grow back so I was annoyed at their actions but did have a fun with my snarky solution. "I enjoyed giving all the people who understood my sense of humour a good laugh and hope it continues to entertain people." ENDS
