• Summary This man woke up to find an owl stuck in his duck enclosure and captured their rescue attempt. Shawn Mizell initially thought the owl had passed away after getting caught in a wire outside his home in Hernando, Florida, on December 6th. Once Shawn got closer, he realised the owl was alive, and promptly tried to release it safely. Shawn used a plank of wood to lift the bird before scooping it in a blanket and cutting the netting around its wings. After removing the last parts of the wire from the owl, Shawn backed away and allowed the bird fly away safely.
