- Title Man Rushes Into Flooded River To Save Dog Swept Away By Strong Current
- Summary This man and his partner quickly worked together to pull their dog back to land after the animal was scarily dragged away by floodwaters. Abraham Benayas Salinas frequently lets his dogs roam outside in La Rinconada, Spain, and bathe in the river water. However, after floods hit the area on February 7th, the water had a stronger current than normal, which shockingly dragged one of his pups away. Luckily, the dog was able to latch onto some nearby shrubbery, and Abraham promptly took his clothes off, ready to jump into the water and retrieve the animal. When Abraham swam over to the dog, he wrapped a rope around the animal that his partner quickly pulled to bring them both back to land. As Abraham carries lots of tools in their car, in case of an emergency, he had the rope readily available for the situation. The woman wrapped her coat around the dog to keep the pup warm, and the animal was thankfully okay.
