- Title Cold Temperatures Cause Waves To Freeze In The Baltic Sea
- Summary Sub-zero temperatures created a phenomenon as waves began to freeze and turn to slush upon impact on the shore. Whilst on the shore of Kiel Bay in Holstein, Germany, on February 3rd, Michael Hart noticed something happening to the waves from the Baltic Sea. The freezing temperatures mixed with strong winds were causing the waves to freeze and turn into slush when hitting the shore.
