- Title Skier Triggers Immense Avalanche Resulting In Narrow Escape
- Summary Jaw-dropping footage captured the scene as a skier narrowly escaped an avalanche he accidentally triggered. The close call was captured by skier Julien Alloin on January 26th, in Chamonix, France. As Julien approached his run, paragliding onto the slopes, he landed on the powdery mountain. After a few seconds, the powder became icy and dangerous, resulting in harsh sounds from his skis. Once Julien came close to the end of the mountain, he dramatically lifted off the ground. During his run, he had triggered a large-scale avalanche that could be seen as he turned. The fast-flowing avalanche fell towards the ground as Julien turned around to view the avalanche he had triggered. He can be heard yelling in excitement upon viewing the avalanche. Julien confirmed that there was no one on the face or below it during the incident.
