- Title Touching Moment Firefighter Comforts And Rescues Scared And Injured Deer Stuck On Frozen Reservoir
- Summary A fire department fearlessly sprang into action to rescue an injured deer that had found itself exhausted and stuck on the frozen water. On January 13th, firefighters of the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to reports of a deer that had fallen through the ice of a reservoir. After it was able to pull itself out, the deer had become injured and too startled and tired to move. The fire department then began the rescue mission by crawling along the ice and equipping the deer with a harness. Rightfully frightened, the footage shows the incredible moment one of the firefighters calmed the animal by stroking its head in an attempt to calm it down. Thankfully, they were able to gently pull the deer to dry land before it scurried away into nearby woodland.
