- Summary A police chase ended horrifically with a dog being ejected through a front windscreen due to the vehicle crashing. The footage was taken by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on January 6th, in Tacoma, Washington. Officers stopped the vehicle at a traffic stop for an expired registration, when the vehicle suddenly accelerated away. The pursuit lasted less than 30 seconds, when the car crashed into an embankment. Upon impact, a large dog was ejected from the front windscreen and fled the scene. The male and female in the car were both taken into custody, where drugs and drug paraphernalia were located on the male. A further small dog was found on the ground, located behind the driver’s seat. The male, aged 39, was arrested on several charges, and the woman, aged 28, was released on the scene with her small dog so she could find the one which fled the scene. Both dogs were okay.
