• Summary After a baby elephant began struggling to stay afloat, the herd quickly worked to lift the calf back to land. On November 29th, Carol Mutinda visited Saltlick Lodge for some drinks in Tsavo, Kenya, when she witnessed the event unfold. During this time, a herd of elephants gathered to also have a drink to cool down, and they had been joined by an adorable baby elephant. The baby had accidentally slipped and fallen into the water, causing its mother to promptly pull the baby out with the help of another elephant.
