• Summary This icicle almost spanned the length of the tall building, and was safely broken off with a large hammer. On January 7th, Carl Grauers Carl watched from a safe distance as the surrounding area was roped off in Gävle, Sweden. A worker can be seen on the roof hammering at the icicle until it falls and breaks on the floor. Carl said, “Happy it didn’t fall in my head.”
