- Title Mother Cat And Kittens Rescued From Roadside Dumping
- Summary An urgent rescue mission commenced on December 7th in Scarborough, when a report came in about four cats that had been discarded and left inside a cat carrier on the side of the road. Kate Lewis, a member of the Filey Cat Rescue services, was part of the team that recovered the terrified animals. In the clip, the rescuers drove to the dumping site, which had been marked by a blue plastic bag left on a fence. They climbed over the barbed wire fence and recovered the cats, who were meowing in fear. Kate estimated that the cats had been there for at least a couple of days and were soaked through after heavy rainfall in the area. However, the cats are now in good hands and have made a full recovery back at the rescue shelter.
