- Title Cat-astrophe Avoided As Firemen Catch Cat Falling From Four-Story Building
- Summary A black cat nearly met its end when it fell from the wall outside a fourth-floor window after attempting to make a daring escape. Firefighters from the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on September 18th, when building alarms sounded to bring attention to the cat trying to make a dangerous escape. Upon arrival, the firemen grabbed a ground sheet from the fire engine and held it taut before the cat fell. When the cat eventually plummeted to the ground, the firemen caught the cat in the sheet. The cat was safely returned to its owners and suffered no injuries.
