• Summary Julia Peters was distraught when she discovered that her daughter had allegedly been detained by ICE agents while she was with her five-month-old son in California, USA. Her daughter, Katie Paul, 33, lives with her husband and infant son and had reportedly applied for a green card after relocating to the US in September 2024. Julia claimed that her daughter’s citizenship appointment had occurred on Thursday, 20th November, and that the immigration offices had allegedly approved her right to stay. The final step was to acquire a court approval from a judge. However, Katie was allegedly unable to acquire this final seal of approval in her journey to become an American citizen, as when she exited the citizenship meeting, ICE was reportedly waiting to arrest her. The British woman was allegedly arrested in front of her husband and baby.
