• Summary Father and daughter were trapped in their house in Pembrokeshire, Wales, when the first snow of the winter season blanketed their surroundings in a thick layer of near-impenetrable ice. On November 20th, Lucy Palmer recorded the surreal experience of being snowed in. Lucy filmed the winter wonderland outside, which had covered her car in inches of snow. They lost electricity, which meant the family were left without wifi or heating. In the clip, Lucy and her dad played outside in the snow. The duo then attempted to leave their house to visit Lucy’s grandmother’s house to check on her. However, they encountered massive resistance in the form of fallen trees covered in thick amounts of snow. Lucy’s dad used power tools to help them escape, and eventually they made it out of their driveway. They were able to check on Lucy's grandma, go to the shop, and return home, where they had no choice but to submit to the icy weather and wait it out.
