- Title Starbucks’ Viral Bear Cup Causes Disruption In Store As Customer Refused Service
- Summary A brand new viral Starbucks Bear Cup has sparked queues in stores, with this one resulting in arguments and the refusal of service. The footage was taken by Lawrence Fainman on November 6th, in East Windsor, New Jersey. ‘Bearista’ cups were launched on November 6th and have proved hugely popular, resulting in queues outside of stores. Lawrence claims he began queuing outside of a Starbucks, which is connected to a Target, at 5.30 am for the viral cup. Other people were allegedly queuing by the exit of the store, as he and 10 others were standing by the entrance. The store opened at 8 am, where they were offering the cups on a first-come, first-served basis. However, once inside the store, Lawrence was refused service due to allegedly queuing in a different line than everyone else. The situation escalates as other people argue and members of staff inside the store refuse him service. Lawrence intended to purchase the viral item for his pregnant wife, who wanted the cup. He was supposed to get the final cup they had left but was refused. Regarding the incident, Lawrence said, “Starbucks definitely should just send us a cup at this point for my pregnant wife and Target should apologise to us on behalf of their employees.” ARK Media have reached out to Starbucks and Target for a comment regarding the incident.
