- Title Dolphins Relocated To Residential Pools For Safety As Category 5 Hurricane Melissa Hits Jamaica
- Summary With the deadly hurricane ‘Melissa’ hitting Jamaica, dolphins of the famous attraction ‘Dolphin Cove’ have been relocated to residential pools in order to keep them safe during the storm. As Hurricane Melissa edged closer to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Asheba Sinclair was surprised to see that the local dolphin attraction had chosen her backyard pool to house the animals for the time being. Asheba visited her pool and was greeted by the dolphins, all seemingly in good spirits as they popped up and down from beneath the water to interact with her. Asheba confirmed in the comments of her post that the marine park workers dechlorinated the pool before the dolphins were temporarily re-homed. According to the resident, there are approximately 10 dolphins in two different pools located in the housing complex.
