Summary This crew lifted a turtle onto their boat to remove what looked like some fishing net from it’s neck. Warren Garmany captured the crew using a knife to break the string to relieve the turtle on October 16th, before returning it to the water in the South of France. Some of the crew speculated that the string was so tightly wrapped around the reptile, that it had caused scarring. After guiding the turtle into the water and allowing it to swim away safely, the crew gave a cheer celebrating the successful rescue.
