• Summary A team came together to reunite a baby koala with its mother after being discovered alone in a street. The footage was filmed by Hilary Whiteman and taken on October 11th, in Brisbane, Australia. Hilary works at the Koala Rescue Brisbane South, a charity that care for koalas in Brisbane. A baby koala was heard yelping on the floor alone without its mother and the charity were called to help with the situation. A koala was spotted near the joey in a tree, unable to be encouraged down by rescuers. The joey was taken to the RSPCA while volunteers stayed around the koala to see if it came down. Rescuers took matters into their own hands and climbed the tree to help the koala to the ground. Once the koala was safely taken to the RSCPA, the mother and son pair were reunited together. The pair were later released back into the wild together.
