She said: "For the first time, she is stable and confident enough on her feet for us to trust her navigating the ice on her own (with close monitoring, of course!) with spikes on her boots. "It was so fun to watch her gain confidence, learn to trust her feet, and learn when it’s too steep for them to grip and fall in love with this landscape on her own."
