According to Shakti, she implored the staff to be kind to the man and let him board, as his wife had already boarded. Shakti claimed that she started recording the altercation when she was allegedly told by a staff member to stop touching them, despite not making contact. After a couple of minutes, Shakti attempted to board the plane but was refused entry as staff believed she "was not fit to fly". Shakti said: “At the final moment, I turned around and after saying they wouldn’t let either of us on board, they let him join his wife on the flight but not me. “I was gutted as I really needed those few days away and I lost hundreds of pounds.” ARK Media has reached out to EasyJet for a comment.
