A bright blue barrel can be seen covering the head of the bear, who got itself stuck after breaking into a holiday home and finding food in the barrel. The young bear can be seen walking around confused, as dogs surrounded the bear, causing it to lash back. Rangers were called to the scene to tranquillise the bear and help remove the barrel. Katrin said: “This shows how important it is to secure homes and waste in bear areas to prevent such dangerous encounters.” The bear was luckily unharmed and successfully released back into the wild.
