• Summary An extremely persistent magpie was spotted repeatedly attacking a paraglider as they attempted to innocently fly by. On October 4th, in Newcastle, Australia, Ebony Smith was sitting with her friend at a beach bar when she noticed a magpie flying close to a paraglider. After the first swoop, Ebony began recording as the bird became increasingly more aggressive towards the glider. Unable to do anything, the paraglider tried veering away; however, the bird persisted and kept swooping towards their head.
