- Title Heart-stopping Moments Tourists Cheat Death After Elephant Attacks Small Boat
- Summary Panicked tourists were left clinging for their lives after a rampaging elephant charged at their boat, knocking it over in a terrifying near-death encounter. On September 22nd, Larry Unrein was twenty minutes into a boat safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana when a nearby elephant began to charge the boat. The rushing elephant chased the now-fleeing boat but eventually caught up to it, pushing Larry and the other passengers into the water. Scared for his life, Larry waded away from the boat while the elephant pushed a fellow passenger under the water. With the elephant pushing its face under the water to keep the passenger down, others screamed, trying to deter the elephant from the trapped person. Thankfully, the elephant returned to its children and walked away from the capsized boat, and the passengers managed to escape without any serious injury. Larry said: "It was life and death, and I did my best to record the encounter. "We somehow survived, and the footage is insane."
