On August 15, Carly McGee was at her job as a cart girl at a course in Charleston, South Carolina, when she saw a large alligator appear on the 17th hole. Never seeing this in her two years of working there, Carly took her phone out to record as the play paused to allow for the gator to cross. The animal slowly crossed the fairway and headed into a nearby body of water, where it slid under the surface and out of sight.
