- Title Bird’s Nest Rescued From Rear Window Of Car
- Summary A woman rescued a bird’s nest after returning from a trip away to find it on the rear window of her car. The unique site was captured by Alana Andrews on August 31st in Honolulu, Hawaii. The mother bird can be seen sitting on the nest, staring towards the camera before moving out of the way to reveal two small eggs. Alana carefully picked up the nest and moved it away from her car towards a patch of gravel, close to where her car was parked. She placed the nest on the ground and surrounded it with rocks to create the safest environment for the eggs. Alana said: “There were no trees or ledges around. I found a napkin in my bag and used that to grab the nest and put it in the only spot of the parking lot I saw that cars couldn’t drive on. “I found a bunch of rocks and surrounded the nest and hoped the mama bird was nearby watching me.”
