The Lion King character, Rafiki, approached Marcy's three-year-old daughter at the theme park before noticing she was overstimulated and not enjoying her experience. Marcey says her daughter suffers from a complicated brain condition called multifocal cerebral dysfunction, which causes her to break down. Rafiki pulled her aside, gave her a big hug then took her on a walk. He was able to soothe her and bring her smile back. He and another Lion King character, Timon, then took a moment to meet with her privately.
