On May 1st, Dannii Sterling and her partner, Gary, were at their home in Ashford, Kent, where they caught the intense moment on camera. Dannii’s baby girl, Billie, was born 13 weeks prematurely and was required to have a ventilator tube inserted through her neck at all times. As Gary left the room for a second, Billie managed to accidentally pull out her breathing tube. Luckily, both parents heard her distress and came rushing in moments later. They calmly used their training to organise getting a new tube inserted. Dannii said: “We were panicking inside but calm and collected on the outside to ensure we did exactly what we had been taught in the hospital and got a new tube in as quickly as possible. “Thankfully, Billie hasn’t done this again and we’re hopeful this will be the only time but we are always prepared to jump into action again!”
