After her neighbors heard both Katie and the fawn struggling, they rushed over to help where they eventually got the baby animal free. Katie was still worried for the fawn as she wasn’t sure if it would find its mother again, but days later, the baby deer and its mother came back to visit. She said: “This made my heart so happy.”
