Oasis Fan On Mobility Scooter Beats "Gallagher Hill" Barriers To Enjoy Free Concert Outside Heaton Park
- Title Oasis Fan On Mobility Scooter Beats "Gallagher Hill" Barriers To Enjoy Free Concert Outside Heaton Park
- Summary A large group of dedicated Oasis fans enjoyed the show outside the venue despite organisers trying to shut down the 'free' concert. Sean Priestley captured the moment locals, wearing bucket hats and football shirts were celebrating another fan in a mobility scooter as she drove along "Gallagher Hill' outside Manchester's Heaton Park on July 16th. The rowdy crowd let off red flares and blew horns as they belted out the lyrics to 'Rock 'N' Roll Star.' They then made a pathway and cheered on the woman in the mobility scooter and she raced over the hill. Prior to the concert, officials attempted to prevent fans from enjoying the gig on the hill by putting up barriers - according to local reports. However, these fans didn't let this get in their way and sang along to the entire concert.
