• Summary On July 3rd in Dorset, Malcolm Greenslade filmed the incredible moment a playful dolphin unexpectedly joined swimmers during a training session in the ocean. In the clip, the dolphin glided alongside the swimmer and began twirling playfully around him. The dolphin then started swimming on its backside and wouldn't leave the swimmer alone, even coming face-to-face with the delighted swimmer at one point. The dolphin continued to interact with the swimmer and jumped around excitedly in the water. Malcom commented that the interaction was totally unplanned. He advised people to avoid intentionally interacting with dolphins, as this can cause dolphins to lose their natural wariness, leading to injury or even death. Although dolphins may seem friendly, they are still wild animals and when disturbed or threatened they can become aggressive towards humans.
