- Title Hiker Petrified After Protective Mother Grizzly Bear Stalks Him In National Park
- Summary A hiker found themselves just metres away from a grizzly bear and its cubs in an extremely close encounter. James Borer was out hiking in Glacier National Park, in Montana, on June 22nd when he found himself being followed by a large grizzly. Incredibly nervous, James took out his bear spray and kept speaking to the bear in a non-threatening manner while slowly backing away from the inquisitive animal. The grizzly then climbed up onto the same path James was on and began to walk above him before James noticed he was in-between the bear and its cubs. Thankfully, James was left alone and after a 3-minute standoff, the bear went away, leaving the hiker needing a few minutes to calm down.
