- Summary A group of friends were allegedly followed by a woman who was caught on camera berating them with hate speech in a car park. Claudia Bretado filmed the woman who was yelling slur-filled hate speech in Beverly Hills, California, on June 14th. In the clip, the woman, who is allegedly Persian herself, continuously repeats racist slurs towards the group in a rant about immigrants. Claudia claims the situation escalated quickly as she continued to shout at the group. She claims the woman then allegedly trailed them in what she felt was a "targeted attack." Claudia said: "As a first-generation U.S. citizen whose mother immigrated here for a better life, it hurt on a soul-deep level. "My mother endured so much to give us a chance at peace, safety, and opportunity. I shouldn’t have to question whether I can dine freely or walk through a parking lot without being targeted because of the colour of my skin. "I already carry anxiety about simply existing outside in today’s climate; with ICE raids, hate crimes, and systemic discrimination weighing heavily on my mind. "That night, I just wanted to enjoy a meal."
