Summary A family of curious black bears were spotted trying to break into a family van, moments after the driver had returned from the store. Kyle Langhart and his family were staying in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, when he had just gotten back from a trip to the store on May 10. After quickly running upstairs to get the family, he heard their cabin neighbours yelling about a bear. He went outside only to find a mama bear trying to gain entry into their van. Even though the car window luckily didn’t break, the window track and cable were allegedly messed up on the inside. Kyle said: “No food was left in the van but I’m sure it smelled like food from our three children. “It was so cool though to see them that close and for that long. “The kids absolutely loved the event and I’m sure they’ll remember it forever.”
