- Summary A company contracted by the city to inspect drains for cracks and irregularities was stunned to discover an alligator roaming inside the system. On May 14th, the City of Oviedo hired a contractor to inspect the drain system below for any irregularities when they stumbled upon an unlikely squatter. The operators were shocked to see an alligator resting in the waters of one drain before it began to walk away after seeing the camera move closer to it. The camera followed it for a couple of minutes before the footage ended when it came to a diversion and the alligator got into deeper water.
