- Title Damage Zone Of Kentucky Tornado Extends For Miles In Shocking Aerial Footage
- Summary On May 17th, Joseph Hayden captured an aerial view of the tornado path between Somerset and London in Kentucky, USA. From a plane, Joseph recorded the destruction caused by the tornado, which appeared as a twisting path of brown dirt that cut through the surrounding green forest. He estimated that at its widest point, the damage zone was at least half a mile long and that he was, “Absolutely blown away by the sheer size of the damage zone.” The damage Joseph captured on video was part of the 2025 tornado sequence that spawned at least 33 tornadoes across the Midwestern and Southeastern United States over a three-day period, from May 15-17th, which has killed an estimated 28 people so far.
