- Title Dropping A Rock Down The Deepest Pit In The Continental U.S.
- Summary A group of friends decided to drop a rock into the deepest pit found in the continental USA. Zachary Murray and his friends travelled to the top of Fantastic Pit inside Ellisons cave, Walkers County which is the deepest cave in Georgia. The drop seen in the video is 586ft, and that’s where they decided to drop the rocks. However, this cave system is not for beginners and should be only attempted by cavers with extensive SRT knowledge, as it has already claimed the lives of three individuals. He said: “Throwing a rock like this does not damage the cave or ecosystem below.” “Moreover, it will not “fill up” the bottom as many people seem to be concerned with due to the amount of water that flows at the bottom.”
