Footage released by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office captures the moment the truck, driven by 24-year-old Robert Thomas Jewett, began turning into the Christensen Farms Feed Mill. As the trailer crossed the tracks, it was hit squarely in the middle by a Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad train. According to the Sheriff’s Office, both the truck driver and train personnel were treated at the scene for minor injuries. “The 1996 International Harvester semi tractor and the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad train sustained damage. The Wilson grain trailer was completely destroyed,” the department reported.
