• Summary This selfless animal rescuer was able to reunite this lost swan with its life partner. Carly Ahlen was called on Christmas Eve, 2023, to a suburban area in Kent where a swan had gotten lost and was at risk of road traffic. She was able to safely detain the swan and secure it in a bag with straps. The swan was taken to a wildlife sanctuary and checked for any further injuries. But once deemed safe, Carly transported the male swan to a nearby park and released it into the lake. The swan found its soulmate as they reunited on the water.
