On July 18, Noemi Hernandez was attempting to fly from Las Vegas to Portland, when after a four-hour delay airline staff quickly announced the flight had been cancelled. The airline had reportedly suffered from a technical difficulty and staff encouraged people who lived in the area to go home and attempt to rebook. Unfortunately, Noemi did not live in Las Vegas and was stuck queuing in an extremely long line to try to change her flight. Noemi stated that during her wait in the airport, no member of staff offered the passengers vouchers for food or hotels, leaving them stranded. Noemi said: “I understand the employees and the whole airline was a victim of this whole situation but Frontier should’ve done better in this situation for their clients.” ARK Media has contacted Frontier Airlines for a response.
