• Summary An orangutan has gone viral with over 9 million views on TikTok after it became obsessed with its own reflection following it being presented with a mirror. On July 14th, Blake Binford went to Louisville Zoo in Kentucky to see Amber the orangutan, popular for its interactions with guests of the zoo. Knowing they were going to see Amber, Blake had packed a small mirror to show the ape its reflection. Once presented with the mirror, Amber immediately leant in seemingly fascinated by her own appearance. However, the fascination was short-lived after being presented with a bottle of hand sanitiser which became the orangutan’s new fixation.
