- Title Spanish Boyfriend Mishears American Girlfriend And Grabs Flowers Instead Of Baking Flour
- Summary Whilst shopping with her Spanish boyfriend, an American woman had asked her partner to bring her baking flour but was confused when he returned with a plant, in a TikTok video that has amassed 3.1 million views. Lynea Lang and her boyfriend, Jorge, were out food shopping in Wisconsin, on March 28, when she asked him to go grab her some flour so she could bake some cookies. However, English is not Jorge’s first language and when he returned with a pot of flowers, Lynea immediately started recording the mixup. Jorge was confused at Lynea’s questioning before she revealed she wanted ‘harina’, which is flour in Spanish, and he realised his mistake but told her to keep the flowers anyway in an adorable interaction. Lynea said “My boyfriend, Jorge, is from Spain and he's been living with me in the U.S. for the last year. “I saw him walking back with some flowers in his hand and I immediately knew he had mixed up flour and flowers so I started recording as he was walking up to me and the video shows our conversation and his reaction when he understood that I meant harina, which is flour in Spanish, not flowers.”
