- Title Police Heroics: Officer Saves Dogs From Frozen Lake
- Summary This heroic police officer managed to pull out two black labradors that had found themselves trapped in a frozen lake. At approximately 7:38am on January 28th, Officer Trent Hullinger responded to a call that there were dogs trapped in a frozen lake in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After investigating the lake, Officer Hullinger was able to successfully locate the dogs and rushed over to them. The dogs were spotted with only their heads and front paws above the edge of the lake whilst struggling to stay afloat as the Officer made their way to them. Thankfully, Officer Hullinger was able to drag both of the dogs out of the water and managed to calm the dogs before getting them to the squad car. The friendly labs were handed over to Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control with the aim of reuniting them with their owner or securing a new home.
