Woman Shares Experience Of Family Fighting Over Grandmother’s Inheritance

Alaina Turlich cared deeply for her grandmother and was close to her for the past 20 years, so when it came to inheritance, the majority of the extended family did not have a claim to the estate.

But that did not come to pass as Alaina took to social media to share her story of how her family planned and schemed to take parts of her grandma's inheritance, despite their lack of care and respect for her.

Some of Alaina's aunts and uncles reached out to her Alaina to help with the house, with some travelling across the US to Louisiana to try to catch Alaina alone at the house.

Alaina shared some of the messages and interactions she received from distant relatives enquiring about the estate but they all failed to visit and show love and appreciation for someone in their family.

She had to work to get succession suit filed and worked to make sure that no one who was not deserving of the inheritance could swoop in and steal anything from Alaina.
