Water On Road Caused This Motorcyclist To Skid And Crash Horribly

This spectacular crash was caused by an overspill of water approaching this motorcyclist unexpectedly, resulting in them colliding with a kerb and the bushes on the side of the road.

The rider, Jesus Bastidas, was taking his new toy out for a spin on the highway in Barranquilla, Colombia, when he began slowing down to take the next exit which was laden with water.

As Jesus took the slip road off the highway, the water caused issues as the handlebars and front wheel were directed in the intended direction, but the motorcycle did not cooperate and headed straight in the brush on the side of the road.

Jesus was then retching in pain on the road side but revealed that he did not suffer any major injury, just minor damages to his new motorbike.

Jesus said: "When I saw water on the road I hesitated on making the turn, but it was already too late and I was going too fast.

"There was another biker tailgating me, so I checked my mirror many times and for some reason I forgot to start braking for the curve."
