Skydiving Malfunction Puts Parachutist In Spin Until He Was Able To Cutaway

This close call saw a skydiver go into a perpetual spin, due to his parachute malfunctioning and becoming tangled until he was able to cutaway the chute and land safely.
Aleksey Gubanov was the quick-thinking skydiver that was taken for a twist whilst falling to the ground over Whiteville, Tennessee.
The G-force pulled Aleksey around in a manic motion as he was trying to correct the spin, eventually cutting away and releasing the reserve chute.
Aleksey said: "I was afraid for my safety, I knew something was wrong as soon as I deployed the main parachute.
"I tried to fix the problem but the rate of spin plus G loading was too much for me to handle.
"It scared many people from wanting to go skydiving. Many are shocked by how fast and aggressive the parachute spins."
