Cheetah Snatches Impala In Front Of Safari Vehicle

This action-packed clip saw a herd of impala scatter and scamper when a cheetah burst from the bush and caught one of the fleeing gazelle.

Cole Van Rooyen was in a safari vehicle in the Pilansburg Game Reserve, South Africa, when him and his party were waiting for the cheetah to appear.

There were reports of a last sighting but Cole was not expecting there to be a flash of action, as the impala tried to escape but the lightning quick changes of direction helped the predator pounce and take down the prey.

Cole said: "This was a once in a lifetime sighting that I will never forget."
