Beaming Double Rainbow Greets Mourners Over Buckingham Palace On The Day Queen Elizabeth II Died
As thousands gathered around Buckingham Palace following the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II ill heath and eventual death, a fitting double rainbow dashed across the sky.
Danielle Bill happened to be in the area and spotted the comforting sight that arched over the cloudy backdrop to London's skyline on September 8th.
The world's press had gathered and along with the public, they were waiting for an update on the Queen's health when the double rainbow phenomenon appeared.
Danielle posted her video to TikTok and it has since gathered over 3.7 million views.
Danielle said: "It was quite emotional to witness as there was already quite a large crowd outside of Buckingham Palace at that time.
"It was a surreal experience as we were all waiting on any updates on her health amongst the world's press, and it felt like her way of saying goodbye.
"Many were saying that the two rainbows represented the Queen and her husband Prince Phillip, while others claimed it was simply the weather as it had rained that day."
