Summary After her pesky cub attempted to run the opposite way and later climb a tree, a mama bear picked the cub up by the scruff off their neck and carried it off in her mouth. While driving up a country road in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on April 9th, Annalise Finch was lucky enough to stumble across a mother bear and her cubs walking uphill. From a safe distance, Annalise captured the moment as the cubs staged a mini rebellion, refusing to follow their mama’s lead. Not putting up with their tomfoolery, the mama bear gently grabbed one of the ring leaders up in her mouth and walked away, closely followed by the now obedient cubs. Later on, the same cubs were spotted climbing a tree under their mother’s watchful eye until she decided playtime was over and once again grabbed one by the scruff to signify it was time to go.
